THE VIRTUOSO 、SOFIA LILJA YXNÆA ALSTRÖM。

ㅤㅤㅤㅤThe Virtuoso’s name was Sofia Lilja Yxnæa Alström, born on April 11th by the end of the 20th century to Pianist Chāo Xiáng Cheng, and Singer-Actor Signe Yda Alström. She was born with a golden spoon in her mouth, blessed with the beauty, the brains, and the wealth one could only wish to have. Her life was filled with luxury, with a wide array of talents she was able to perfect immediately. The first sign of her genius was when she started to play a tune in a toy piano an aunt had gifted her, her parents ecstatic to learn that their daughter was as musically-inclined as they were, especially her father, who was a renowned pianist in all of the world.

ㅤㅤㅤㅤAt 4 years old she began to ace each and every class, every extra-curricular activities – it seems that, in her parent’s eyes, she was perfect, a genius, and urged her to perfect every talent she can ever get her hands on. And over the years into being a teenager, Sofia grew to be the prodigy that she is in multiple subjects in Internationella Engelska Gymanasiet in Sweden, always achieving the highest honors among all of her classmates, always doing her utmost best to make her parents proud. Ever since she got to school, she kept the title of being an “Overachiever,” or her most famous one yet, “The Virtuoso”, acing each and every class and extra-curricular activities she was a member in. It had been a running joke that she’s obsessed with collecting certificates, trophies, and praises just for the fun of it. She took classes like Taekwondo, Piano, Guitar, Ukulele, Violin, Cello, and Harp and Flute lessons. And always being awarded as Top 1 in contests, awards, never second, nor third. And her self-esteem and confidence is thus carried by her achievements, and would increase using people’s praises, most especially her parents’. She never gained any close friends that lasted years, mostly acquaintances that relied on her on projects, and assignments.

ㅤㅤㅤㅤDespite seeming to be the perfect example of a humble and kind student, all through-out her childhood, she was a cocky child filled with pride to whomever she deems threatening enough to her place in the honor’s lists. Additionally she developed an obsession with perfecting almost everything she does, in terms of cleanliness, order, and fearing that she would be imperfect if she disappoints her parents who gave her everything they could provide her.

ㅤㅤㅤㅤBut little by little that she grew and managed to create a few friends and lovers, she learned how she missed a lot of her childhood where she tried to perfect all of the skills she could get her hands on instead of enjoying every bit of fun she could have had. Even though she rarely ever opens up about her insecurities, everyone that managed to create a close relationship to her always saw through all her barriers. She thinks of insecurities as something imperfect, and its imperfect of her to have flaws. A mindset drilled in her mind to always strive to be better and better than whom she was before. Her efforts, even though highly appreciated by the masses, friends and sometimes her parents, it never seem to be enough for the latter, and so she thrives to be better, seemingly centering her life on her busy parents’ love.

ㅤㅤㅤㅤNow she was a college student in The Central Conservatory of Music in China as a scholar, though radiating the typical perfect student aura, she held the huge burden and responsibility into keeping up a good reputation as a public figure in front of others even though she swore to fix herself to be someone really better than what her parents created to be. This was Sofia Lilja Yxnæa Alström, and this is her journey to achieving the life she wants to have behind the scenes, to be a carefree dove in the swarms of attention she was surrounded with ever since she was born.
